I am assuming that when Bonhams are inundated with calls next year for catalogues, this will be rapidly pulled!

It always gets mentioned year after year so it’s nothing new. However I believe you can only get the catalogue through subscription to all car auctions or at bonhams london

It makes sense that they have to provide tickets when in previous years Friday has always sold out otherwise Auction clients would need to be provided with a special arrangement to buy sold out tickets. Therefore easier to just give them for free.

Ah, well there you go. Every daze a skool day. The Bonhams auction at the Revival is outside "Over the Road" so there's no admission ticket required, and the Members Meeting also has a separate entrance for just getting to the auction. So this FoS trick is the only one worth keeping an eye on.

I've ordered catalogues by telephone for years... just the one and treated family and friends to a Thursday and Friday outing.
Good value and the loos are much nicer than out on the course, plus cheaper coffee and a comfy chair. And the lots scattered around the room are pretty good too.
Pity you have to carry the catalogue all day, but thems the rules.

Another mis-conception to correct - Over the Road became so popular as a free event that you now need an admission ticket to be able to access it. For the past 3 year iirc.
