You'd probably need two jabs and then a 10-14 day buffer to be classed as vaccinated, if it came to that.
That would mean pretty much everyone under 45 without pre-existing conditions would need tests instead.
The under 45 category actually has a large percentage double jabbed due to many being a key worker. This is how they got through the age groups quite quickly. That would mean pretty much everyone under 45 without pre-existing conditions would need tests instead.

Goodwood have just got back to the FB group and have said that they have heard nothing concrete, and to ignore anything until such times as they have.
Yeah seen that (on my post) however I’m always happy to listen to PH as I believe the new MM dates were on here 2 days before being announced (and in fact I believe most event dates are confirmed on here before Goodwood confirm) so happy to go with a decent source of speculation. Although I still believe they went too early with the dates for FOS and took a big risk that may not pay off.

On the GRRC page someone mentioned ‘could it be run but like speedweek?’
I don’t know what the incentive would be for them to do that? They run speedweek for contractual obligations which means they can get away with one event so the fact revival and MM are still planned would be cheaper just to cancel surely? ecsrobin said:

And there are a lot of twitching sphincters as a result. I like optimism, but I would hate to be the one calling the shots right now.Although I still believe they went too early with the dates for FOS and took a big risk that may not pay off.

Yep. And if they need to do a request for funds again I can see more of a reluctance this time round as it was quite obvious. I just really hope they can pull something off; not just being selfish and wanting to go to a big event again but also for the competitors and all the other associated businesses (and local area) that could do with the injection of cash.

Silverstone F1 just got confirmed to go ahead.
More importantly: at full capacity. My very personal two penn’th, for which I’ll probably get flamed:
The likely restrictions at Goodwood with regard to restricted access to paddocks, manufacturer stands, display collections etc will mean that more people will be wanting to watch the trackside action, rather than milling around the other areas.
That will put additional pressure on the ‘public’ enclosures along the track, leading to crowding that is worse than normal.
The lack of tractor drawn conveyances to the top of the hill will lead to more people huffing and puffing their way up through the woods than normal.
The top of the hill, which is always busy, will be frantic.
All in all, it doesn’t appeal to me one bit until restrictions can be properly lifted – I’m not keen to be part of the Government’s Events Research Programme i.e. spend a day in a state-sponsored petri dish, and then be released into the community, just to keep his Lordship in Krug.

What I am worried about is that the government will think that’s motor racing fans covered so we won’t now give Goodwood the ‘pilot’ exemption.
