A word of warning to those using the Performance Parking adjacent to the hill start line / batch holding areas.
During the last couple of events I've noticed some very nice cars parked close to the batch holding areas at the bottom of the hill - these areas get very crowded with spectators, particularly when well known drivers are waiting for their runs. I have seen people leaning on or even placing bags on parked cars....not somewhere I'd want my car!

Thanks for the heads up. I think that’s where my parking spot is. If I see anyone placing a bag on my car I’ll go ballistic. In another note, I can’t see detailed directions anywhere for the performance car parking. My ticket has a brown symbol but I’m not sure if that means I just follow the brown markers and then the performance parking will be sign-posted separately. Apologies if it’s obvious. This is my first time there.

Yes brown for east pink for west although an error on the map also says east. Edited by ecsrobin on Wednesday 22 June 17:02

Not just me that's been confused by the cryptic directions....eventually figured that I'll head in the roughly right direction and then will look for a sign. Wonder if Goodwood have ever heard of GPS coordinates or explaining that the background colour of your ticket are the parking instructions you wantMarcelM6 said:
