FOS Wedding Proposal - Friday

Hi Team,

Bit off an odd one, this..

I plan to propose to the better half at 12 noon on the lawn, in front of Goodwood house / sculpture on Friday.

I wondered whether anyone would be able to spare a few minutes prior to midday to take a few photos whilst I get on one knee etc?

Can PM my email/number for the images to be forwarded. Happy to slip a drink in your pocket for your troubles.

I’ll be fairly obvious as I’ll be with my son who is in a mobility scooter and hope he will pass the ring to me. I’ll be in a jacket and she’s got blonde curly hair.

I know it’s a busy, expensive day but if anyone could spare 5 minutes, I’d be very grateful.

Have you tried contacting Goodwood themselves ?

There's a goodwood photography group on Facebook called "Independent Goodwood Photographers Guild" I'm sure someone on there can do it for you!

If all else fails, ask somebody to take a group photo of you all. Tell them quietly or leave with a note on screen saying I'm going to propose can you please record a video / take photos.

As a Motorsport and wedding photographer I would absolutely loved to have done this, sadly for the first time since 2007 I can't make it in the week (as I have a wedding to shoot!) so only attending Sat/Sun.

More than happy to put out a call to my Instagram friends, I know many, many photographers attending. Let me know if you'd like me to do that and if I get somebody I'll put you in touch. I know somebody who would be perfect.

A few people are now aware of this who will do their very best to cover it, it sounds like it might be mentioned during the media briefing tomorrow as well for any photographers who are down that way at the time! If you could ping me a message with your email address and keep me updated if anything changes such as location / timing I'll happily pass it on.

Edit: The video/photography guy shooting for Ferrari and Koenigsegg this weekend would love to help, he's a wedding videographer too.

Edit 2: Wasn't aware of my own power, the chap who looks after commissioned photography at Goodwood has just been in contact, they should have photographers in the area for the Porsche moment at that time, so he will mention it so people can keep an eye out.

Everyone will have cameras out anyway so nothing will look suss, but it just hopefully means a few people are ready and waiting if they spot it happening.
