Lots more road traffic to navigate around on the way in and as already stated, properly rammed for a Thursday. I wonder if the less expensive entry ticket has something to do with it?

Front of House sculpture is behind the spoiler tag. Don't open if you're waiting to see it in the metal.

Hopefully the member of the public is ok. Numerous ambulances. We were watching from the other side. Could see what was happening but looked like they had nowhere to run. Think it’s 5 medical car / ambulances.

Just saw this happen live on YouTube .

Hope all is ok, but it didn’t look good.

YouTube feed has gone to a lot of breaks.

They just said two people injured - one standing, one sitting up.

Expected much worse, if I'm honest.

I suppose it was inevitable. Lucky it wasn't a car

Yeah, that's no good. It was actually the bouncing off the top of the straw bales that gave it some height.

Blimey, miracle if nobody was seriously injured from that. Edit: Just seen Goodwood tweet all were thankfully okay.

Just got back!

Agree with the comments about being rammed for a Thursday
Actually for me getting there fine - 2h from NW London. Left 6am and in at 8am on the dot. Not many delays

But inside the venue very crammed - walking around the paddock almost impossible to move, but like being in a student nightclub

Best of get lunch at 11, as noon is too busy

A good day nonetheless, love the 917!

I don't see much benefit to the performance parking (for the driver anyway, nice for the visitors!) . It was only a 10 min walk from the (North) car park to the PP area anyway.

i saw lots of exotic stuff in the normal car park - F12, Rapide, Aventador, GT2RS

Busiest Thursday I can remember and horrible traffic.

Weather was mostly ok

That flying wheel was horrific…

Left Leicestershire at 4am.
Steady drive down M40 to try to avoid M1 roadworks and as much M25 as possible.
Arrived bang on planned arrival time at 7.30, no delays to speak of all the way to the public parking area.
Had a good walk around, seems many more food stalls than last time and prices are as extortionate as ever.
Left site at 1pm as it seemed to be getting really busy, more like a Friday.
no problem getting out of course, no delays until hitting M25 but the traffic coming into FOS public parking was bad, id say at least 5-6 mile queuing from around Midhurst.
Delays on M25 and M1 and got home for 16.30, straight onto live stream and tbh that is my preferred way to view I think in the future

I’m going on Saturday.

Staying overnight in Bosham on Friday and aiming to get there for 7am ish. Hopefully the traffic won’t be too bad then and it will be just the predicted gale force winds to contend with instead 😭

Just got back to north Leeds, stayed over last night in Eastleigh. Traffic this morning on the A27 very heavy. That’s the negative but the positive is that there is really nothing else like it if you are a petrolhead. So many amazing machines old and new. Well worth it.
