Sure is.

Get a trailer ride to the top, have a mooch around the service area and then have a slow walk down through the stage - it's a great way to spend an hour or so.

I've not done silverstone classic or classic leman so maybe thats a good starting point.
I've just joined Shelsley Walsh Membership as its local and you don't get much more opposite than Goodwood than that.

I went to Monaco historic last year, flights, 4 nights hotel with breakfast, event tickets, transport and food and drink came to not much more than £600pp. What I like about Monaco was that Friday is free to attend and no ticket required, if you want to enter the paddock then a ticket for sat or sun is required. It’s that good and certainly less crowds that I’ve booked again for next year.

Off topic, but can I ask how you did Monaco. Through a travel company or independently and did you stay in Monaco itself?

Booked independently, flights with easyJet Gatwick to Nice and then booked a hotel with booking.com in Menton which is a short train trip in the morning. The other option is to stay in Nice but Menton is nicer.

We did choose to eat in Monaco most evenings and found it very affordable and beer was about £4-5 a pint in the grandstand.

Friday is free for all to attend practice and no tickets required for grandstands. Saturday and Sunday was around £100 for the grandstand tickets (not yet released) we chose the casino one day then the harbour the next. We wouldn’t do the casino again except for on the Friday.
