I'm waiting on 2x Saturday entry, 2x Saturday grandstand, and performance parking. Nothing at all since the mail directly after the event. We were already in a local hotel when it was cancelled so an expensive weekend even after I get my refund.
Not that they will care but I've removed the renewal of my fellowship membership. The whole thing has been handled badly.

Got an email from them on 29th Sept thanking me for purchasing my refund. It hasn't appeared on my credit card recent transactions yet, so I hope they haven't charged me instead of refunding me!!!
I had purchased tickets for two people with grandstand seating for the full 4 days, and camping for the full duration (obviously camping isn't refunded) and here is what the email says, and I'm not sure what they mean by 'programme', unless it's just generic language that means something to them? it seams I am getting a refund of £213.60 to be split between the two of us, £106.80 each..

I couldn't roll forward as I wanted a 4 day ticket for next year, had they implemented a Thurs/Fri/Sun ticket option at checkout appropriately priced to take account of the 'rolled over' Saturday ticket it would have been easy.
As it is, they had to manually add me to the refund list (literally an Excel spreadsheet by member number, they informed me) over the phone and then I had to order a 4 day ticket separately.
Great, except I've just had an email saying that my Saturday ticket will be rolled over automatically in the coming weeks.
Given they will only communicate by phone (tomorrow will be my 4th call!) they do appear to have very antiquated systems for a company putting on several events with huge attendance figures every year.

It's all a bit of a farce isn't it.
I'm probably on my own here but.....It was my first FOS and we camped there with 4 day grandstand tickets. By the end of the first day I could have happily come home, I felt that I had seen enough. Day 2 was just seeing pretty much what I saw on day 1 and I realised I'd pretty much seen everything on day 1.
The cancelled day 3 was a welcome fluke of luck as I didn't really want to go back in again, but had to stay as we had tickets for day 4. I just wish it was day 4 that had been cancelled so I could have come home sooner.
Had it been possible to take a chair into the event and sit watching the track with some drinks and food then that could have been a bit better, but the bales of straw around the track would have prevented seeing anything.
The delayed refund just adds to the negative feeling I have of the event. In case anyone is wondering, I won't be returning

Not sure what you were expecting from the event if 1 day was enough yet booked 4 days. I'm probably on my own here but.....It was my first FOS and we camped there with 4 day grandstand tickets. However molcombe you can sit on the grass and see over the track and many do take chairs. Food and drink including alcoholic are all welcome to be brought onto site for all goodwood motoring events.

Wasn't expecting anything, I was accompanying a mate who was desperate to go and wanted 4 day tickets. I agreed to go with him having no idea what to expect. FOS turned out to not be my cup of tea. Did the same with Silverstone F1 a few years ago, Quite enjoyed it but wouldn't go again.
It's good to try things like this though as you don't know until you go. Quite fancy going to a foreign MotoGP, though I expect I might feel the same. Wouldn't stop me going though to try it.
Picked up a voicemail from yesterday saying my refund had been 'issued to your Goodwood account 2 weeks ago, but if you would prefer to be paid out please ring us back'.
Rang this morning and arranged to be paid back to my bank. No notification of anything to a 'Goodwood account' last month, and they mentioned a form to have originally requested a cash refund but I never had that as my email in July just said the refund would be processed automatically unless I filled in a rollover form (as I had performance parking booked that couldn't be rolled over and a refund was the default).
Added me to the 'spreadsheet for cash payments' and noted it is a long one and I'll likely now get paid in c10 days with a few more days to hit the account. Very nice lady on the phone so I didn't 'shoot the messenger' but the whole thing is very amateur. Diarised to check my bank in 2 weeks for the 350 quid I'm due. Will be my last dealings with Goodwood once received.

We would assume that they have added you to the end of the 'spreadsheet for cash payments' rather than some random position within it.So, if you will get paid in about 10+2 days, that must mean everyone else will have been refunded by then.
Don't start a chicken count.
