Nice pics there Rhubarb!

And you Stuart...got to ask, how do you get the panning shots so crisp? Kit, practice, Image-Stab'n?!? Great shots...make mine look as amateur as they really are!

Nice to see Marco Martin back in a WRC car

Where else in the world can the public get this close to an F1 rolling burnout!

I managed to get my RWD car out of the muddy car park no problem but those who went home before me left some evidence of their driving skills.

I think the shutter speed was around 160, but will check.

Cheers Stuart...don't feel quite so bad now! wink

Duncan...WTF?!? Are you sure you didn't just throw that all over your car to get some sympathy?!? hehe
(Surprisingly, the 'teg remained nearly unscathed! A few spots behind the front arches and over the rear bumper. Was expecting worse...)

You and I clearly looked at the same things Batty!

That Mazda Cosmo was interesting wasn't it? Cute little motor....

I got talking to the owner of the P4/5, James Glickenhaus I think he's called. A very nice relaxed and easy chap to talk to and fascinating too.

the P4/5 is stunning, really like the car, would have been interested to have a chat, but we had to keep moving, as i had a lady in tow hehe

I was going to take my wife but thankfully she bailed out so me and a mate went and had much more fun!

We had a look at the Murcielago roadster, I'm one of those lucky people who had a Murcielgo for a while, never again! Felt such a nob driving it. No disrespect to others who do have one by the way. The Gallardo is a bit more normal somehow.... Lamborghini didn't treat me particularly well either, so I was in that marquee with gritted teeth really.

Nice shots with the new camera! The Gallardo looks great - very menacing with a long lens...

Shady, no my Aston wasn't there - but it has been 'round Goodwood a few times, despite the normal decibal restrictions...

Part 2 from me too....

Detail.....

Sculpture.....

Track......

Top Paddock.......

People.........

Although I'm ashamed to say I've no idea who any of these are - all bikers. The guy in the orange jumper was fantastic riding a 3 1/2 hp bike up the hill - that apparently used to do 70mph

Giles. Wow.

Superb photography.... I'm envious!

By coincidence I have two very similar shots - the P4/5 and the head on of the Toyota display. But your catches of the portraits are stunning - really terrific.

Damn you!! biggrin

PS Oh and the white number 12 car too.... fabulous.

Damn you again! smile

Some of mine are rubbish, but say the camera is a slim-line point and click jobby a few turned out ok:

The wheely car...

We've got a drawing of this one signed by Bell and Ickx so it was a bit special to see...

I won't post any more as it'll kill my bandwidth and they are big images to download, but the rest are here if you want to look:
