Not long back ourselves. We drove down in just over an hour, it took that long to get off the site this afternoon. In between we enjoyed seeing some great static displays and runs up the hill, we 'enjoyed' some very over-priced food and drink and we got cold, wet and muddy. Who said wellies weren't needed? I have real empathy with my son and his friends at Glastonbury. We were out in it for about 6 hours; they've been there for 72 hours already.
Would I go again? Only if fine weather could be guaranteed.

Was nice to see the Porsche ALMS spyder as well, a fantastic piece of kit. (which unlike some cars didnt need a van load of mechanics just to get it running)
Hmm, just the three engineers, the lap-top, around 300kgs of machinery& generator to warm the oil and coolant for 20mins before they dare start it.

While this palaver was going on, and bloke next door hopped into a 956B, turned the key and fired it up.....
