I was lucky to have a ride up the hill on the first run on Saturday.
driven by James Gornall in the Mosler. It may have looked boring to some
but what a great experience. He was going for it bouncing of the rev
limiter in 1st and 2nd. On the way down doing burn outs and slides, the rears were smoking and people were clapping.
James is a formula Renault champion and instructor with Palmer sport.
Thanks James.
You were in the run we saw - the Mosler, Lambo, and GT3RS all gave it some...although the Porker was a little tame after the other two.

I MIGHT have a pic or two of your run (up or down) - will check...

I did the aternoon run with James and the Mosler. Awesome experience. According to the spectators afterwards the car stayed on the big TV screens the whole way up. Coming back down was almost as good.

I might be going out on a limb here, but.... sleep me they were boring.

A number of cars virtually silently swoosh up the hill, whilst gentley being pootled round... boring!

The tannoy announcer (Marcus Pye?) says there are two runs and it's a crowd favourite... er... so why was almost everyone around saying that they were boring...

Not only that, the exhaust note from ever car was a disappointment... surely if these company's want to sell their sports cars, they should make an effort for the crowd and put on a sports system at least.. rolleyes

My faint glimmer of hope to hear a V8 rumble came to nothing... the Marcos, Morgan and Aston wafted by... jeez, I could fart louder rolleyes Still, at least the Bowler Wildcats sounded good. smile

Aside from that... cracking day. smile
I agree, very disappointing IMHO.
