No, no guarantee. It sounds to me like the local council is breathing down Lord March's neck re the congestion caused by his events so he is gathering stats in order to better prepare and plan events.Many thanks,

Well done, you just said the same as me in a fraction of the number of words!
Market forces will prevail and there will be longer queues at the food vans and more and more people avoiding buying breakfast at all. It's a pity that they see fit to rip people off like this rather than just charge a fiver or something on the gate for everyone attending. It's not clever, it's not subtle and it does great harm to the Goodwood brand.
