I was parked on the pit straight too. I later found out you went on there if you were the 1st example of that particular model...
What time did you get there to be 'First of Class' and do you have one of those little 'Display Boards' that you place in front of your car???Dave

Seriously..hats off to everyone that made it, especially to the crazy sods that popped down in Caterhams/Westfields & that Atom. Balls of steel, or in this case, probably ice.
Well that's very kind of you. To be honest though, the weather was fine when we started out at 7:00 and it only started to snow just as we got there at 8:30. Here's my car parked under cover(!) in the paddockand another of the Atom just as the snow was starting to fall heavily. There's something about all these pics in the snow that make them look unreal.

Some great pics there, and was a great event spoilet by some extreme weather.
I quite enjoyed it actually; there will be plenty of sunny ones this was a bit different. The cars looked great. I also love driving in snow (of course we were in a 4x4 Skoda Octavia* so it's a bit different for those in elise's etc) it felt like a real adventure. - Not what we normally go in, obviously. Only when it's snowing!

if anyone has photos of the 240r S7 EXG which was one of the 'exhibit' cars I'd love to have them. Would you believe I blasted down in dappled sunshine arriving 7:30 and washed the car in bright conditions at goodwood. Turned out to be a wasted effort! Quite amazing how the conditions changed. My underpants experienced a different type of gusset anxiety driving home. The 2-11, for obvious reasons, stayed put for the day!

The 2-11 was mine.......... it was moved into one of the hangars to shelter it until the weather cleared at lunchtime before being driven home. Big thanks to James at Goodwood for enabling this.If anyone has any pics of it I'd love to see them. TIA!
