Your title is ambiguous at best; its on the 25th/26th May. I'll be taking the family.

I didn't go in the end. The weather today is pretty shocking.

I doubt they'll be flying in this - certainly won't be display flying... probably no more than a 200' cloud base here in Berkshire frown

Inevitable I'm afraid' torrential rain here from the small hours; sodden grass srips and carparks.

Such a shame as it was beautiful on Sunday; we were treated to some low passes from a Spitfire Vb on the beach here! smile

We went Sunday. The morning didnt look promising, around lunchtime though the wind blew the clouds away and the sun burnt its way through and the afternoon was baking. It was so hot that I got thoroughly sunburnt. Even today my face is still cracked, blistered and peeling from the weather on Sunday! We had no suncream with us as early Sunday morning travelling indicated rain and lousy weather only, absolutely no inclination of what was to come.

It was a superb day with regards to the flying though. The highlight was absolutely the Great War flying display, I have never seen those aircraft on static, let alone flying display before! OK, granted they were only replicas and 7/8th scale, but still, how many original Fokker triplaces and SE5a's are actually flying today? Wonderul stuff and special metion to the model aircraft display commentator...a chap who I think may have passed immediately into Goodwood legend!

I've been informed by the G/W boxoffice that there will be no refunds on tickets for the cancelled Monday event, but they will be able to be used next year.
