Just wait til Goodwood start charging for admission then the moaners would have something to moan about! So what if the cars on the pit straight arent all out and out £100k+ rare super cars??? Who cares if the friendly marshalls get it a little wrong...i wouldnt work on a sunday for 10 times what they get paid. Had a superb start to a lovely sunday with my young son wandering around looking at some beautiful cars eating a lovely crispy bacon roll. Keep up the good, and very much appreciated by most im sure, work Goodwood clap

I'll second that. Nicely done Goodwood - I can't remember the last time I had such a good morning out for FREE.

Rather than have numerous cars dotted around in various locations (numerous car parks, track, pits, etc) why not have all the Supercars displayed along a larger part of the track itself?

I missed many cars because they were hidden in car parks over the back. Surely by using more of the track this would also provide more room and avoid the large crowd of people all looking at the cars on a small amount of the track they currently use - why not spread the display out a bit as they have plenty of space available?
Yes, I wondered why they can't use a bit more of the track. I can understand they wouldn't want to use all of it as it would be a bit of a trek round.

I really enjoyed the event and I don't mind where I'm parked. I just don't want to get home and find I've missed all sorts of exciting cars because they were parked somewhere out of the way that I didn't notice.

Top tips:

1. Make sure you walk around all of the parking areas (including the turn-right-just-in-the-entrance car park): you'll find amazing cars all over the place. smile There simply isn't enough room on the start/finish straight and in the paddock.

2. Don't get precious about where you are asked to park. smile

Keep up the good work, Goodwood.

All Marshal's are volunteers and I know for a fact that at Goodwood they dont get paid anything. My husband normally marshal's at the FoS on the Rescue Unit although we wont be there this year.

The car parking marshal's dont have a list of what cars are attending only a list of possibilities so they will more than likely have been told to allow vehicles they consider to be "exotic" in.

Whatever their instructions, Goodwood is a fabulous place and Lord March is a top bloke smile

I loved the diversity of what was there and didn't mind what was on the straight nor what was in the paddock.

Well done to the Stewards in my opinion!
