Like the 'orange sausage' bloody fast it was. Just saw that you're a fellow snake-owner! I was in the MG SV, first time I took it round this circuit. Brakes not up to the job, started fading after just 4 laps. Back at Goodwood next Saturday with GT3 Viper at the Aston Martin Sprint for more....
You know there weren't many people there on Saturday but I've come across virtually all of them on various forums.Wished I lived locally to GW....I'd come down and see you pilot the Viper.
Your SV sounded awesome....brakes fail SO many cars on track days. The RS is the only car that is unafected by heavy braking....but then I guess I paid for the luxury.
I too wished I lived a bit closer to GW, I'm in Bath and it usually takes me 2 1/2 hour if no traffic. Looking forwards to GW Saturday, at least I will not have any brake issues with the Comp Coupe, as it's sporting 6-pot 15' Brembo's with race ABS, will stop a train for full steam.... As with your GT3 RS, you get what you pay for. You certainly gave the F1 and Mr. Bean a run for his money in your orange beast!
Well it has looked worse

Mr Bean crashes sports car
Rowan Atkinson has a love of high-speed sports cars
Comedian Rowan Atkinson has crashed the £650,000 sports car he bought to celebrate the success of his movie in the role of Mr Bean.
The front of the McLaren F1 supercar was wrecked in the collision with the rear of a Rover Metro in Lancashire at 1400 BST on Monday.
The star's brother says it is his first accident
The driver of the Metro, Margaret Greenhalgh, suffered minor whiplash injuries, while Mr Atkinson was unhurt in the accident on the A6 at Forton.
The star, also famous for his role as Edmund Blackadder in the eponymous TV series, reportedly asked police not to name him following the accident in the 230mph supercar.
Mr Atkinson's brother Rodney said the star - whose Mr Bean character drives a Mini rather than a high-powered sports car - was "an absolute fanatic" about cars.
He said: "The faster they are the more he likes them. He's a very good driver, there's no doubt about it, and this is the first accident I have heard of involving him.
"Obviously, we are relieved he is uninjured."
Mr Atkinson's sports car, which can travel from 0-60mph in just 3.2 seconds, is not the only prestige vehicle he has owned.
He has also driven Aston Martins, Rolls Royces, Lancias and Mercedes.
The McLaren car was delivered to his Oxfordshire home in 1997.
