Did anyone get any pics of the Mx-5 with the Le Mans stickers on?

Good turnout considering that the theme (soft-top) and the weather weren't very well matched. Luckily I live fairly locally, so we just got home before it really hammered down. Interesting looking Tuscan there, with a big air filter poking through the middle of the bonnet. Chevy V8 underneath perhaps? And I expect the 372bhp S2000 has given a few people a surprise! Roll on 3rd August, and here's hoping for some decent weather (for a change).

Nice pics chaps but...... where are the spectators?? Was anyone there? Looks like a ghost town compared with Supercar Sunday!!
No, it was packed - took hundreds of photo's but had to filter through to find ones without body parts in them!! Also, people seemed very considerate towards anyone brandishing a camera and gave enough room to take some shots!

I did not make it to SCS so cannot compare it but considering the weather and forecast there was a good turnout, paddock was full, lots of cars on the track from the end of the pit lane to the chicane on both sides and the car park on the East side of the track was also full!

Its for the international dealer launch of the 500 Abarth, Fiat dealers are coming from across Europe to thrash them about for a few days on the Goodwood circuit, Not sure whether any of them will be shown at the Festival of Speed...

I got there late on with a couple of mates on our bikes. The weather was biblical - stair rods would be a good description. On our way down we saw a lot of soft tops heading home. We stayed for breakfast and then headed off, the weather was that bad!

Overheard the owner say ir was running a 600 bhp Nascar V8 that he'd commissioned in the USA.

Why thanks, old chap. I couldn't go in the end (sigh) though I have before.

Shame modern cars often don't have the curves of the 60s......

There were 2, silver on the start/finish line and a blue one in the paddock.

When the silver one left the blue one was put on the start/finish line - next to the Phantom. Well they are both blue and German! smile

Nikkie - you should have come over and introduced yourself. Mike.

Here's some pics as promised:

I passed the silver CGT on the main road, full gallery here:http://rallyrider.zenfolio.com/p267783315

Only 38 this time round, I cleared off up to Sandown afterwards for the rally up there.

I would have done but Photgirl and I were checking out the slightly more "girlie" cars and then George got cold and wanted to go homerolleyes
