Supercar Sunday - photos

I'll just chuck these here then.
Overriding impression of the day: GT-Rs are popular.
Really enjoyed my first Breakfast Club, and drove the two hours back to Essex with the top down on my MX5. Shame the forecast (and occasionally present) rain kept the truly exceptional machinery away - no McF1s, no Veyrons, no Koenigseggs - but can a chap honestly complain about a Carrera GT, Ford GT, McMerc SLR, four Diablos and more Ferraris (including classics) than you could shake a stick at?

Request:
If the gent who popped up from behind the hedge on the right-hander at the top of the hill by the race course and took a photo of the silver 996TT with Manthey badges on the side, nil ground clearance, lights blazing and the reg MK02 *** is here, post the photo......
Edit: I'm guessing as you weren't wearing a yellow jacket, it won't appear automatically through the post.

Not a supercar, but my chums e-type. Not on display but at the aero club.
What's a little unusual is that he bought it new, it's done 39k miles and is completely untouched. I think rather special - although looking a little bit shabby!
I'm not sure I saw many 'supercars' today and as others have mentioned there were cars on show that shouldn't have been.

I like E-Types but he really should sort those wheels out. With the rest of the car polished it would look like a fine example of a used classic but having rusty wires is pretty shabby Incidentally is that a specially made number plate cover he's got on the nose? What an amazing spectacle and (unexpectedly)fabulous weather! I've put quite a few pictures on my site, if you'd like to see them:

Some great pics there thanks. I feel a little annoyed though - having spent ages sat in hellish traffic I could probably count the amount of true super cars on two hands. Quite how Mitsubishi 3000s, 370z etc etc were allowed is anyone's guess!?
when you say "allowed in" do you mean in front of the pits or generally? That said, from the pictures I would agree, I would never consider my Griff a "supercar" yet I see there were lots of Jap cars and Nobles there. I assume these were in the surrounding car parks not on the track? I've tried to pick a few cars from my photos that haven't been posted yet:
One for the bikers;
My mate and I thought this little fella was looking damn cool in his pedal powered hot rod!
Great day out, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Shame no Veyrons or Koennnnigggsseggs or my personal favourite, the Countach but you can't have it all, I suspect regional bad weather kept some away!
Pity about the trafic chaos too, but at least we were in the jam behind a 911 GT2 and a Noble!
