Thanks for the caution Scooby, we've seen him there before. Suspect he might find a different hole to hide in soon.

Cheers

It looks like the weather is going to be OK for Sunday, so there will probably be a good turnout. See you in Petworth.

I have spoken to Mark Featherstone who is the General Manager at Goodwood, and he says that a 'TVR Theme' will be put on the diary for a breakfast club next year. How cool is that?

...just one small point of clarification:

A rep from the TVR Club contacted Goodwood to enquire about holding a 3 day TVR Club weekend at Goodwood which would include track hire, hotel, camping, gala dinner etc.

If the TVR Club decide to go ahead with the weekend, then Goodwood would dedicate a B'Club on the same weekend. It is unlikely a dedicated TVR B'Club would happen without the three day event taking place.

Stupid question time:

I know it's soft top Sunday, but will there be anywhere for us tin tops to park up or do we get told to go forth?
Well you can park in the car parks, or am I missing your point?
Rich, I was wondering if there'll be an area for other cars of interest or will they be slotted into a normal public carpark with door dingers.

I've never been to a Breakfast Club and am unaware if the general (read: family hatchback) public go to these meets.

The car parks fill up starting with the circuit and then any fields which may be required. In my experience the door dingers stay away. I picked up more small marks on my car when it was on the grid at the performance legends day. They soon polished out no worries

Yes it will be busy and yes you will get lots of cars there including the usual hatchbacks, only those cars that match the theme will be waved into the track and infield parking although how the marshals make their selection is somewhat random wink other cars (i.e. in this case "tin-tops") will be waved towards the public car parks and fields...

Anybody know if there is a convoy from the M27 direction, my first time down to the breakfast club and don't fancy spending 30 minutes sitting on the M27/A27, I was thinking the backroads could be the way forward - anyone know any routes from Southampton way
Watch out for the Scamera van on one of the bridges over the A27. Feckers got me in April on the way to Goodwood. 0907 on a Sunday morning. Don't they have better things to be doing on a Sunday morning.

Great run in this morning from Guildford Cathedral and a good turnout at Goodwood. Just back home after a great run in the R300. Pics later.

Just got back, wow that was a busy one !. I've not known so many cars turn up for a Breakfast club before, they were double parked and most of the way along the track straight (Both directions).

Guess the waether helped, a rare sunny sunday morning, so what better time to take your soft top out for a drive and a spot of breakfast. smile

Still wonder why there are so few trade stalls there, as these weekends are pulling in big crowds now.

Great way to spend a Sunday morning as always.

It's a seized alternator, so quite an easy fix, but not a part that you can get on a sunday morning!

Not sure If I said hello..? I said hello to a few people! smile (I was the young guy with a big camera..)
