Indeed and it won by a country mile last year, indeed it was no race. With all the stuff being written by Tony Dron in Octane about illegally modified historics I did wonder what on earth they had under the bonnet? Agreed though, a nice car and exceptionally quick!

update for you guys.

The car that won last year is not the one that crashed in practise, its the sister car which was in the middle of a complete restore when goodwood was on last year.

the owner is gutted as he was chuffed to bits at being invited..... We are in the process of inspecting it at the moment..

The main thing is Jeremy the driver is ok...

Saw a 100S on the road on the way to Goodwood at lunch time today (and yes by all accounts it appeared a genuine one, oval grille, old english white wheels, low perspex screen and aero fuel filler).

I didn't get a chance to catch the reg as I was having an 'enthusiastic moment' and passed it a little too quickly!!

Dom, did you manage to get the car sorted??
