I've been to loads of FoS's and the traffic has varied from not nice all the way to yup, we should have walked or waited for plate tectonics to move us closer.

So is it similar at Revival? I've no idea if the numbers of visitors are comparable...

The advice given to me on the GRRC forums was to avoid the area around Goodwood between 8.00am and 11.00am on Revival days, even on the Friday (at the FoS I usually get to the gates at around 8.00am but am travelling with family to the Revival so an early start would be nightmarish).

In excess of 100,000 visitors last year at the Revival, from memory, so it's approaching the popularity of the FoS.

I am not going to the Revival frown but will be using the A27 heading towards Portsmouth at about 9am and was wondering what the traffic will be like there?

I would say that the left hand lane betweeb Fontwell and Chichester will be completely full of cars queueing to get in to the revival and the right hand land will be flowing perfectly.....as long as no-one blocks it by trying to push into the queue. Allow extra time!

Not forgetting the speed cameras - if you have the chance of a clear road!

That's what I was worried about, might look into avoiding the area alltogether

Never really found it to be that much of a problem. Had one point about 4-5 years ago when it was slow going getting out of the car park, but there quite a few routes to get out and once your on the routes, lots of ways you can wriggle through to where you are going.

When I go to the FoS, I tend to avoid all the usual car parks and park up the top of the rally stage near the racecourse. That's incredibly quick to leave from.
