I have been invited to the revival on Friday and have never been before.

Friday is practice day so a little quieter than Saturday or Sunday. The on track action is good too.

A good opportunity to see the paddocks and other displays. Definitely worth making an effort to dress appropriately, you don't need to go overboard though.

Yup I'm doing Friday, working Saturday and using the money earned on Saturday to go again on Sunday!

You'll certainly enjoy yourself, and as has been said, don't just wear jeans frown

Going saturday and sunday so can't really help you, but if you have been offered to go on friday i wouldn't turn it down. Well worth it to see multi-million pound cars hammering around the circuit. biggrin

I'm going to be one of those letting the side down. Been at various motor racing events 8 out of the last 9 weekends so no prospect of sorting out alternative garments.

Go on Friday and have a great time - it is such a spectacular circuit and make sure you do the perimeter walk - the really quick stuff is mega out the far side of the track. The peripheral stuff is fine but it's on-track where the best stuff happens.

Out of interest what would you wear if you were invited somewhere on business, smart/casual? Do you only have jeans?

Which is why I now go for all three days, Friday to look at the off track stuff and Sat/Sun to watch the racing... smile The pre-66 car-park alone is better than most classic cars show...

Interesting.. do you usually live in a volcano? It was very hot here all weekend last year with max recorded temperatures of 31 degrees c in the pit lane..
