My issue, however, was with the Restaurant, which used to be run by Green's, but which appears to have been taken inhouse under the name 'Richmond (?) Catering'

As usual we booked in the restaurant, arrived at noon and were told that there was no booking for us (made four hours earlier).
This happened to us last year after having made a booking in person (but we didn't get a table) - it spoilt the day to be honest as 4 of us were looking forward to a sit down lunch.

Since Greens has changed hands, (David V used to run this side of the business) it's gone massively downhill. I guess with such numbers they no longer have to worry about service.

Good to see you there! - agree 100% including the PS! Walking round the St Mary's side, crowds were very thin and you're very close to those drifting Ferraris in the TT.

Also booking up for next year.
Good to see you there Brian, when we saw you the Grandstand seat we had was perfect, the same for next year.
