I tried to get a decent photo of this one , The GT40 prototype , a very rare motor car indeed. Alas I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time , can anyone help with one or two ?

thanks in advance.

Transferred all mine from the cards to the PC this morning but work has stopped me going through them yet. I think I had a few decent ones in amongst the 3000 or so that I took, I was roving about on Saturday and under the woodcote grandstand all day Sunday.

Will have a look tonight. It is one car that will be going on my clickmotorsport.com website if I have any that are good enough.

I believe that is the GT40 Roadster and that the Prototype was the white car Richard Meins was driving. I am quite prepared to stand corrected though. The Roadster was involved in a very heavy accident at Eau Rouge last year if memory serves correctly, almost immediately following its restoration. Great to see them both out on track, although what a shame about Folch's car being badly damaged on the startline.

The light green one in my picture above is the roadster. The main one with the blue bonnet is the prototype.
