Anyone else heading down March 7th? I've organised an automotive-themed jaunt to the South to coincide. Great way to pass a Sunday morning.

I could be interested. I went to GFOS and loved it, would be cool to wizz down and backm in one day-if not a little tiring! I have an Elise too. Wpould you drive from Yorkshire-staying over or not?

Nick,

My missus and I have a few days annual leave left so we're off to do Brooklands, Beaulieu and the Breakfast Club over a long weekend. I'd suggest maybe staying over somewhere the night before if you can do - that way you can get up really early for the meet. The other great thing is the quality of the surrounding roads - they're perfect Elise territory so you could spend a happy afternoon blasting around with the roof off before heading back. It's a long way to travel for breakfast but you'll have a great morning!

Just be aware that if you head off in the Petworth direction, the safety camera people have been making a habit of stakeing the road out with their nasty little speed traps. The events themselves are always worth popping along to, you're garanteed to see something you didn't even know existed at least once thumbup

I've heard about those guys. I do head in the Petworth direction, but tend to turn off before I get there to avoid all the one-way systems through the village. There are some astounding sections of road around there though. The run from Wisborough Green to Petworth down the A272 with super-smooth tarmac and nice cambers is a fantastic way to start a day at the races. Shame I live in urban Leeds almost 300 miles away...
