When do they release a schedule of events for each day.

I've not been for maybe 15+ years but my girlfriend has bought me a ticket for the Friday for my birthday.

I assumed there would not be much going on Fridays, just setting up etc... but looking at the reviews of 2009 it looks like a considerable amount happens, so i'm quite excited now.

You'd be very, very surprised how much goes on on a Friday smile. They don't normally release a schedule untill a week (ish) before.

I thought Friday last year was probably the busiest day and in no way a poor relation the the other days that it used to be.

The only Real change on friday is a small number of race cars may not run up the hill..of the current F1 teams that attend the event(can be up to six or seven teams..but only five last year!) only two or three team may run the hill on friday.

Not that case Rich. All F1 teams always run twice on all three days.. In fact, all of the cars and bikes run twice on both days. If anything, you're more likely to see everything run on a Friday as they may have an incident or mechanical trouble over the weekend which would stop them running for the remainder of the event. The drivers change though.. Red Bull usually run their test driver on Friday and their two F1 drivers will run one of either Saturday or Sunday.
Cheers,
J
