I sometimes ride through Worthing or Brighton, or on the A24 (busy dual carriageway) because every now and then I miss that cut and thrust of keeping up with the dimwits in cars. Not very often though!
Here's a couple for you Gruffy... This is Spithandle Lane
Topping out on Steyning Bostal

Cheers everybody,
some photos from todays ride to Gotthardpass (2106m) in Switzerland.
The famous "Tremola" cobble road is still closed due to snow. But not for a Pistonheader, it`s not! shoot

The Trusty BMC delivers in the snow (big aero advantage!)

Zillertal Hohenstrasse,

I did it twice, got caught in a wild storm on the second go, fell off on the descent...trashed my best cycling clothes....ah well.

My first ever 100km (or thereabouts). Out to Sydney's wonderful and freezing Blue Mountains, punctuated by a couple of Kilkennys and a snake.

Well done on your 100km, Blue Mountains can be surprisingly (to me) nippy. I remember an unreliable Canberran telling me Australia were angling for the Winter Olympics not so long ago.

Did a ride I'd been meaning to do for a while. Hiked up up to the highest point in the Pentlands hills, Scald Law. Great wee adventure.

Agree, love this thread. cool

I did a few miles of the Tarka Trail with my wife, daughter and son in a buggy. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend in North Devon, couldn't have asked for nicer weather, too much for some though -

Really special ride for me yesterday biggrin

Only about 6 miles in the saddle but was the first time out riding with my little boy who is 13 months old. Got him a Weeride seat and helmet for his birthday and got out yesterday to do a loop round Cliffe pools in Kent up to the river Thames. Was a bit nervous about how he would take to it - the weather was a bit windy but he loved it smile

My Dad came out with us for the ride, was a fantastic feeling enjoying a ride with them both. Great moment when my little boy started waving to a family walking the other way and they all waved back, proper proud dad moment!

Pointing at a huge container ship on the river Thames:
