The hill I'm referring to is called Sullington Lane Buster which is good when dry and an absolute st (literally) when damp
Doable but bloody hard work on a bad day
https://www.strava.com/segments/1873395 - I know the one, the bit near the farm is nearly always axle deep in liquid brown stuff of unknown origin. I'd say both I posted were harder though...Doable but bloody hard work on a bad day

I'll have to try the others when I'm back and report accordingly

Thanks, the frame is a bit shabby in places but new tyres and tape was all that was needed. Took it for a 7 mile run yesterday and bars are not comfortable as I'm used to sitting on the hoods and I the left pedal needs some attention.
It's a different beast to my carbon bike that's for sure

Not the most impressive pic but I had a huge grin as I took it, this was my first ride on my new bike with new wheels. I have been out of action since March after an operation and physio just gave me the go ahead to go for a short easy spin i.e. 2 or 3 miles. 30kms later I was shattered!!
First time on 28mm tyres as well and they are a bloody revelation, can't see me ever going back to 25 or 23, they felt quick enough but soak up so much road buzz.

I had my first "big" ride on my Four - 35km around the Cotswolds, almost all of it off road. With some bridleways being better kept than my lawn:

And to complete a Trilogy of Friday Evening Mountain Bikers, a lonely lap of Follow the Dog and the Monkey Trail in Cannock Chase. Only saw about 8 other bikers, lovely!
Sounds ideal! I love getting up to Cannock Chase on a summer evening, but it usually means taking the afternoon off work for me.I had a much gentler ride this afternoon - 2 laps of a local reservoir with my son on the back, whilst my wife ran one lap:
