Ventured over the bridge into the Wye Valley today, nice tea and cake at the Brockweir village shop.

Yep, that’s ice in the bidon on yesterday’s ride.

It wasn’t any warmer this morning either. I had literally no sensation in my big toes after a couple of hours in the saddle.

Local loop around NE Wales with my FB cycling group.

Did the last 10 miles solo as I was close to home...this is at Hope looking towards Hope Mountain.

^^^^^That Slate looks cool!

A rare day of sunshine here, in the shade it was absolutely freezing tho. I think my toes have only just defrosted!

When you find yourself 130 miles from home, collecting the product of a moment's madness on ebay, what better way to spend an afternoon than riding from Clacton-On-Sea to Walton-On-The-Naze and back in a 30+ mph easterly wind? wobble

It's probably more dramatic looking now, but relatively rare snow in the City today.

A couple from yesterday, didn't really have a plan!
I love this trail round the back of Cissbury. Nearly understeered off it on the first downhill corner mind, but at least the bog at the bottom was frozen solid.

Chanctonbury Ring behind and Steyning down below.

The diagonal line down the hill is one of the toughest climbs I know, hoping to manage to climb it without resting or pushing this year.

It's -5c on your regular Monday night ride and you get a puncture. So what do your mates do? Take photos...

Just before the rain started properly, managed a swift scoot round the local trail. Lots of wet sand over wet, shiny rock made things a little interesting...

Pony Bike. Felt more like a Monkey Bike, I’m not tall at 178cm but I think you’d need to be 158cm to ride one of these in comfort. 1st day in a long time I left my motorbike at home for the commute so used public transport. In typical British fashion the train I should have got was cancelled so the next one didn’t meet up with any buses. I spotted the my little pony bike at the station and it said download the app and ride away so thought why not. It was remarkably simple, download app, receive an activation text, scan credit card, scan Bike and away you go. Cost 50p for my 5km ride from the station.
