One of those utterly brilliant days when you think..... fk it, let’s go home early and go for a spin
I appreciate there are many great places to visit in the UK however I think I am so lucky to live in the South, the Downs are a brilliant playground that’s for sure
And then off for a swift one before we got home

Can I ask a sincere and perhaps a silly question?
I love a lot of the pictures on this thread and although I don't partake in cycling myself, I have to wonder....do you HAVE to include your bike in someway to prove that it is indeed a 'today's ride' pic....or would just a view suffice.
Some do just put pictures of views, but are they derided by those of you who include your transport or don't you really care?

First ride on new tyres, wow, 25mm gp4000s2s roll so much better than the crap oem Schwalbes I had on before. Got out this morning and did a 48 mile loop over to Alhallows, real banjo player country. Managed 18.2mph average, happy with that, all the 5am turbo sessions are paying off.
River Thames is at the end of the path....

It’s basically an unwritten rule that any pics taken on a ride, especially solo rides, have to include the bike. Just the way it is.I love a lot of the pictures on this thread and although I don't partake in cycling myself, I have to wonder....do you HAVE to include your bike in someway to prove that it is indeed a 'today's ride' pic....or would just a view suffice.

Someone with a decent camera could have got some great shots of the sunrise over Manly Dam. But I only had my phone...
