Not a very exciting pic, but today was the anniversary of the father-in-laws passing, so it felt appropriate to ride past and stop for a moment at a place that meant a great deal to him.

First time taking my new Santa Cruz down Death Road. This thing absolutely flies compared to my hardtail work bike.

This is proving to be a load of fun, far more capable on the climbs than I was expecting too.

Keep these coming - looks awesome, in a probably-scary-too kinda way...

More relaxing that that, from my Sat morning scoot - views across Pittwater to Scotland Island...

A few from this weekends wee ride to Paris :-) It's a shame that Queen Elizabeth tower (big ben) is covered in scaffolding but c'est la vie!

I start4ed my ride with a loop around the local country park with my son on his balance bike:
Ride with Owen by Lewis Craik, on Flickr

Then, took the long way home, using my different starting point to explore some new trails, without having to cross the city to get there first. I now have a new retro desktop background on my PC:

We’ve had a bit of rain so thought I’d scamper along some of the local singletrack on the gravel bike. Was fun, if slow and slippy, and a great excuse to get me and the bike a bit grubby...

Tyres are 35c and, as it was a spur of the moment decision to turn onto the singletrack, were still at around 80psi for the trip. Bumpy.

Thanks!

Watched Portugal v Spain this morning, then headed out for a couple laps of the local trail - had it pretty much to myself...

An out+back ride from Oxford to Swindon. Just over 100 kms all in all (first time). Alas, I couldn't get the magic roundabout right on my first attempt. confused

Went out for ride on some singletrack that I’d not been on for a while. Nice view, you can see all the way to Holme Moss to the west and Drax power station and the Yorkshire Wolds beyond to the east

It was a bit overgrown though, that’s not a tan line, it’s where the weeds and nettles have whipped my shin.
