It is indeed, 2016 model with a few changes. 1x11 Shimano SLX gears, Nukeproof pedals, Renthal 780mm fatbar with Ergon GA2 grips, Fabric Scoop saddle and BrandX dropper post.

Ideally some Hope wheels/hubs next on the list purely for the noise hehe definitely need to go bigger on the brake discs though they seem to have lost some stopping power. I think the ones on it have got some contamination on them so just going to replace them.

So instead of crashing my shed Saab tonight dicking about in the snow I decided to go out on the push bike. never ridden in the snow and It just has standard maxis x country tyres. did a bit on road and footpath things I found was foot prints in the snow are lethal and tyre tracks on the road aint much better.then had a go through the local woods which was ok apart from hidden ruts etc and after feeling sick from blowing out my arse due to not having been out on my bike for quite a while a full belly from dinner and the reasonably deep snow hard going for a part timer like me. I just about made it home just about and without stacking it. though came very close more than a few times I’m cream crackerd now so looking forward to a rum and coke.
Crappy picture of a snow covered hawley lake
Forgot to add one with the actual bike with me not on it rolleyes

Hello neighbour!

Your "shed Saab" isn't a blue convertible by any chance?

No photos from me, as the ride only lasted 5 miles!! Here on the Cambs/Beds border, the east/west roads were ok, but the north/south roads were ice rinks. After wheel spinning a few times and thinking I am properly going to bin it, I came home before I did and went for a walk instead. The thought of 6 weeks off work appealed, but not with a broken bone or 2 biggrin

Out and about on the Chopper today, free brekkie on offer at my local BMW dealer so couldnt say no to that...great day to be on 2 wheels anyway.

50th anniversary of the bikes launch this year, plenty of events scheduled and being penciled in, has anyone else from PH got one they use?

Sensible. I must admit, since I broke my collar bone, having slipped on what I think was ice, I have definitely become more of a fair-weather rider....fortunately I have a great indoor setup which I'm more than happy to spend hours using in one sitting smile

I broke my left arm coming off on black ice within 100m of leaving the house in 2016.

New rule now in force..... if the temperature is below 6 degrees I don’t go out. Zwift is safer.

I am currently training for an Everesting which I'm doing for charity. I have been doing between 11-14+ hours/week on the bike at decent intensities....Zwift....almost all of that on my kickr and kickr climb using Zwift and Sufferfest (although most of the 'Fest at reduced intensities)....I even did 6hrs 8mins on the turbo trainer 2.5 weeks ago laughwobble

I don't mind....plus, doing REALLY long rides on your own outside is difficult with respect to nutrition/drinks etc....I'm not leaving a very expensive bike unattended whilst I pop into a shop to grab something....

Are we bored of snow photos yet? wink

I went to Lady Cannings earlier in the week, the temperature was -5 when I stepped out of the van. Great fun on the e-bike, the plus tyres just smash over everything.

A fairly decent 14 mile ride, mostly over snow, ice and frost! The T-130 C RS is so composed and inspires confidence on downhill sections ...

Second ride on this bike and I love it! Even the local livestock took a shine to it! hehe

I went out on my road bike for 50km on Saturday morning. It was -1c with -6c windchill standing still, and there was some ice on the road, so I didn't exactly fly around. Even with winter gloves, merino socks and overshoes, my hands and feet were completely numb at the end.

Still, it took about 1hr 50m, so I'm happy enough. The only photo I took was outside my flat when I finished - I figured if I stopped halfway, I'd find it hard to start again!
