I enjoy your pictures Neil but I would also like to know a bit about what it is like living and working in Bolivia as a mountain bike guide.
I know it’s a bit intrusive but I really enjoyed your around the world epic.
You are living a life many aspire, but can’t for a whole host of reasons.

Not a photo. And the footage isn't mine, nor does it feature me. But I didn't know where else to post this...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=20&amp...

Youtube footage of a Bristol cyclist being taken out by a deer running out of a hedge in front of him.

More detail in this RoadCC piece... https://road.cc/content/news/269721-video-doh-deer...

Be careful out there folks! It nearly happened to me once, the deer thing. Luckily in my case the 5 deer involved were spooked by a car on the other side of the open field they were in, and it was not dark yet, so I saw them and slowed enough that two of them crashed through the hedge in front of me, and the other three formed a separate group, and crashed through the hedge behind me. Terrifying, all the same, so I can't imagine how it feels to actually hit one!!! yikes

Quick ride this morning to earn some calories for the next couple of days. Bit of a shakedown for my Santa Cruz and my mate has just bought the Mondraker, off to Bike park wales on Sunday so had to try and get them dialled in.

What bike is that? I'm going to guess a GT based on the frame... Can't see writing on it (disclaimer: I've been drinking...)

Looking on the bright side I live 15 miles from the coast however my house will shortly have a sea view which can only increase its value smile

Once upon on the South Downs it was pretty windy, interestingly cows seem quite bright and face directly away from the wind all at the same time and in the same direction.....

Ok the negative side when one farts it’s into the faces of the others so perhaps not very pleasant?

My missus also got the hump when I saw her car parked when she walked the dog.

Not sure why hehe

I’m sure I’m her her mutter gently between those rose petal lips as I cycled off down the road....

fk off and don’t scratch my car you bd......

Some women are sooooo touchy smile

Singletrack blast on the gravel bike today...

...always a good test of fitness and keeping handling skills sharp, or at least less blunt after the beers of the past few days...

On holiday in the town where I grew up, revisiting trails I rode as a teenager. Good fun, a lot of trail building work has been done since those days.

Really hard work I found. May have been the wet mud as well but just felt like I was fighting them all the time.

Good afternoon ride, long steady climb to the lookout followed by lots of fast flowy fun coming down. And probably the biggest jump of my life - not saying much as I'm not much of a jumper, but that feeling of hanging in the air wondering when you're going to land was quite entertaining.
