Did a lap of the isle of grain today from gravesend to alhallows along the (very muddy in places) coast path, then accross to the river Medway and back to Rochester taking in as many bridleways and byways as we could find along the way. Some interesting forts, shipwrecks, has a stand off with a bunch of massive cows that did not want to move off the path and got a cheeky KOM to boot. Great day out.

Your gravel bike does look cool Ares and well done for getting out for such a decent ride so soon after all the rain we’ve had recently.
Thanks! Rule #5 / Rule #9 etc.... PushedDover said:
A lap of Kieder Water today -
The motor on the E-mtb is on the last lap so nurses it round- a great easy ride
The GF’ besties birthday - so cake and pies to end up. Great day
Why have I never hear of this place before? The motor on the E-mtb is on the last lap so nurses it round- a great easy ride

Could you do this ride on a gravel bike or do you need a MTB?
Can you share your gpx of the ride as I could do with a nice ride away from the roads.
104 km in the wet on Thursday from the Moselle up to Vianden and back ....
The old train station at Bettel
A view up the River Our and Vianden Castle
And me, buoyed by having eaten and warmed up!
Yesterday, 54km to and around Luxembourg’s capital village. Images taken in Hesperange, a small town I lived in from 1998-2000.
In Parc Hesper, no idea why ...
And the old castle ruins in Hesper, surrounded by more modern, crappy looking 50s / 60s buildings

We saw Gravels, MTB's, CX' and 'city' ebikes. the Trail is compacted and good enjoyment pottering around and we had such sunshine and broody weather it gave great views. The Drive to it is spectacular scenery too.
A change from ponding the N'York moors..

and to be honest, I wouldn't start where we did, but on the South end of the Reservoir Damn car park
Waiting for the Giro to start in Lanciano today
You're never far from a glimpse of the Blockhaus, not in the route today but part of my route to the start
From the day before, but the route went past here. Was here in August, couldn't get in the car park, could hardly get on the beach.
Filling up after my 100k with a local delicacy, arrosticini. It's just skewers of mutton, which sounds a bit...meh, but so nice! The middle two are standard, the two on the right a little piccante, the two on the left, liver and onions. OMG! So this, a massive pizza della casa, a beer and a glass of red, £21.
