Not me personally, but a YouTuber cyling across Syria. Thought this thread was a good place to leave it.

Really enjoyed the video, this dude has some interesting videos as well. Basically like a Roadie version of 50to01, nut cases.
Loved the Syria video but he’s an absolute clown with a serious death wish.

I did another icy 100 yesterday.

Bloody freezing, but wrapped up and stayed warm and dry. Just nice to be out after a week of Trump/lockdown//Covid/Brexit/Homeschooling/etc!!

Yip, well Subaru called them a Brumby here but same thing. The cars add some good novelty value.

Does look like a lot of fun!

Out in the woods yesterday for first ride on the new bike:

What is the front mudguard? Looking for one for my new ride...

I have the long version. Haven't used it yet, but my mate has, and he really rates it.

This was from yesterday.

Gently breaking my bellows back in after a bout of Covid.

Been tinkering with one of my bikes. Wanted a 'go anywhere' and 'always ready' bike that I wasn't precious about so put some sprung forks on my CX bike. Added lots of storage and the fattest tyres I could fit under the rear mudguard.

It's heavy but has the desired effect. Could use lockable front forks though. Also sorted the problem I had with my toes fouling the front wheel...

Yeah it's good at keeping st off your face. I generally hate the look of mudguards but these are ok and I have 2 of these on my ebike, one repurposed to keep the rear linkage clean. Not so good at protecting the arse though!

Some from Saturday and Sunday rides. It was 3 degrees different, 0 on Saturday -3 on Sunday, huge difference! Saturday was just beginning to thaw, just a little bit mushy but not sloppy. My mates had wanted to go later when it had warmed up, but I argued colder was better, less likely to get bogged down. Sunday was a battering, everywhere was so hard it was a relief to get back on Tarmac!

Sunday, around the back of Goodwood airfield/track. A bit chilly & frosty like elsewhere. Enjoying the fields here before they disappear under yet another housing estate. Lavant will become joined to Chichester very soon and the airfield/motor circuit will have housing right next to the southern and western sides :-(

Sun shining today, but about -5°C. 23km round trip to pay bills, and other exciting things.

I don't normally stop to take photos when I ride but I've got a new phone and the camera is soooo much better than my old one!
