I've got a dilemma, I am already in via a charity as I had a place offered to me in autumn by thrm, however, I would rather do it myself via the ballot.

To secure my place via the charity officially I need to pay them the £50 by Feb 18, else my low sponsorship total increases. (Although I can still pay them after that date and keep my allocated space). However I am loathe to do that if I find out I am successful in the actual ballot.

Therefore I hope I find out about the Ballot prior to the 18th February so I can make a decision based on fact!

I think early feb would probably denote something some time prior to the 18th.

Please don't take this as gospel, I just remember the site from last year - mine showed as cancelled and I didn't get a place..

Hopes are up this year though..

I don't mind too much. I rode the route last year by myself on open roads and had a good time doing that. Hopefully I might be able to get a place through working with a couple of cycle journalists who said to give them a shout if I didn't get through, so I might try that.

Luckily I entered the tour of Cambridgeshire so I'll have one closed road event to do.

Certainly a logical thought though. They have to know who's in though by now.

The site has a line:

This registration was cancelled on 28/01/2015 07:58

Will keep my fingers crossed but pretty unlikely I would think

Funnily enough 1/2 of me is glad I didn't get in as well. I was hoping to do some of the ride with Velocio Sram, but this year the 100 clashes with a UCI world cup in Germany so they'll be there.

I'll look at Tour of Cambs on Friday when I get paid.

2013 Cancelled - applied from my address in London.
2014 Cancelled - applied from my address in London.
2015 Approved! - applied from my folks' address up north.

Probably made no difference and I'm getting all tin foil hat about it but there we are.

Need to up the mileage now.

Sorry to ask, but where are you guys finding your entry status? I was looking through the website and confirmation email and can't find anything. I am an idiot right enough!

Log into the website and view your receipt information. The cancellation date was on there. If you can view the registration details, then your staus is also listed on there.
