I've got a ATX990 with Z1 BAMs, 1998 GT Palomar with original tyres and brake blocks and a Orange Zero trials bike in Peter Kraus edition.
Bomber Z1s, now those are a blast from the past, in 1998 they were the daddy of suspension forks. Compared with the Rockshox Indys I had before the Bombers were a huge improvement, I still have a hardtail with some 2003 Bomber Z3s which still perform far better than a large number of modern forks. I still have my original set with the twin disc mount. They have seen downhill tracks all over the UK alongside hundreds of sets of dirt jumps over the years and have also been crashed numerous times. Yet they still live on as good as when I got them.

Fat Chance Yo Eddy lurking in the back of the shed
Pics please - tell me it's aqua fade.... The Yo Eddy was my fave bike, along with a Mountain cycles San Andreas way back when mtbs were the only thing I dreamt about.I'm sure both of my current bikes would knock them in to a cocked hat but I'd still love a yo eddy. One day....

that is more retro than a retro thing. I so wanted one of those back in about 1991, but I bought my Proflex instead.
always wondered if it would spark if you came off it & slide down the road.
I wouldn't be surprised. I would hazard a guess that I've only done about 500 miles on it since new. Awful thingalways wondered if it would spark if you came off it & slide down the road.
Gosh it's been a long time since I have seen a set of those thumb shifters like those fitted to the Klein.
I did a quick survey around some friends with old skool MTBs and we have 1993 GT Outpost, 1992 GT Pantera, 1996 Timberline, 1996 GT Tequesta, 1998 GT Backwards, 1999 GT Arrowhead, 1994 GT Zaska and until very recently a 1991 Palamar - it was a fleet bike that often lived at the pub. At some point over the years everyone had a ride on it but some **** stole it last week!
I should get some pictures next time we go on a pub ride as all together we must look like a poor Team GT 90s edition.

Anybody got a fat tube Klein in the crazy colours? From memory they were pretty madly expensive.
I used to have a dolomite Attitude (bought at the same time as the Pinnacle). Much missed, but the front was far too harsh for the type of riding I was doing at the time, hence the suspension on the Pinnacle. My one and only bike not used much for the past decade or so but been out on it quite a bit of late.
Pace RC200, Full XTR apart from the Race Face carbon/composite cranks. Super light and with my new road tyres I eat single speeders for breakfast.
Inherited it from my dad and was his pride and joy before he fell ill.
