Just heard on the grape vine that Josh's time for the double has been beaten. If this is true then is one that's going to stand for a while!

The new time is15 hours 35 mins! For 200 miles off-road, with 7600m if climbing.

fk me that's 14 mph over that terrain, how does that compare to your best?
I've only down a few sections and can't imagine maintaining that kind of pace, if it was that profile and tarmac I'd be hard pressed to do that time!

It took me about 13.5 hours one way! That is mental.

An amazing time there. I don't think that'll be getting beaten for a while!

Here's the Strava link to it:

I can't comprehend how hard that must be, a mate of mine did a 22h double last year and he's pretty bloody fit. I'd love to try a sub-24h double and I reckon that would be pushing it, nevermind a 15h double.

Bloody hell, I doubted this but Ian Leitch is legit all right.

It's at least an hour wasted dealing with 200 gates alone!

Massive achievement, but not surprised to see his name attached - seen what he can do at the Brighton Big dog and the guy just keeps going and going and going...

I know this has been on the to do list for Ian for quite some time.
Incredible time that probably won't ever be beaten.
