Rad Am Ring 2017
Discussion
Bumping this thread.
One member of one of our teams of four has had to pull out unfortunately.
So if you fancy riding this fantastic event, and feel you can fit in with a big bunch of dikwads then let it be known.
We have a very nice big plot of 4 parcels this year: 2 x teams of 4, 2 x pairs, 2 x solo and 2 x 25km.

I'm looking at doing this either next year or the one after that.
We did Revolve24 last year and are doing it again this year. Naturally the next step is Rad am Ring.
That's how it worked for us.We did Revolve24 last year and are doing it again this year. Naturally the next step is Rad am Ring.
We did the first Revolve24 in 2015, then Rad in 2016 and again this year.
IMO Rad is a better event, in that is is a very well organised event overseas meaning a great boys weekend away. Saying that, Pablo and myself were only last night saying how we'd like to do Revolve again.
Have a look at the Castelli event in Italy too, that is another on the "must do one year" list.

The attraction of Revolve for us is that my brother in law and friends that make up our team are based in Kent, so it's very easy for us and even for me it's only a 2 hour drive so costs are kept quite low.
Last year Revolve was great but you could tell it was the first time at Brands, so hopefully this year they will have learnt from last year and it will be better.
I'll check out that Castelli one too.

Twas the second year at Brands, as did it in 2015, really liked the event and the organisers but such a short track got old pretty fast imo, out at Rad it's 50-60 mins a lap and if half of you are based in Kent, then Folkstone is just over there...
