First frost this morning.
I have an uncanny tolerance for the cold, and with just shorts and a short sleeve top I am still plenty warm, especially as immediately after leaving my house I have a steep incline to conquer.

Must invest in some decent gloves though. I have padded fingerless ones and my finger tips suffered this morning.

Safe biking all.

Be careful, it’s bound to be getting slippy

First frost for me too. Finally remembered to wear some gloves so hands were warm for a change.

Think I'm going to have to wear a hat under my helmet though as ears felt like they were going to fall off!

2c when I set off at 6.30am, perfect conditions for my newly purchased Craft windstopper base layer, worked really well.

Long sleeves and leggings in Birmingham, 2c here as well. No frost though, so just a bite in the air.

Ice on the car when I left, circa 2 deg. Noticed it took a lot of the other cycling commuters off the road today. New capsule wardrobe worked well smile

bit of ice today, lovely sunshine

I have a steep hill as soon as I leave so that warms me up nicely , wouldn't fancy a few miles of stop start filtering

I dont mind the cold so dont wear much, but my knee joints hate the cold and ache, so as long as they are covered im ok

Chilly this morning - no frost (London) but should have wrapped up more since it's supposed to be a "recovery" day. How the people I passed riding without gloves or in shorts do it I have no idea. I need full-fingered gloves (light ones, under my mitts) any time it's below 12 degrees. I use a similar rule of thumb for knee covering, so it was knicks today.

Liner gloves plus thin sealskin gloves. Tips of fingers still frozen.

Spent the morning surfing for heated gloves.

Then got distracted and ordered a di2 lever and some tyres.

Now can't afford the gloves!

I cycled into London in shorts this morning, I misread the weather forecast or it changed since last night so I was bit less togged than I probably would have been. I do half my commute in the car, once I've set off I'm stuck with what I'm wearing so it was shorts or nothing!
Actually wasn't too bad once I'd been up Crystal Palace which isn't normally on my route but I was making a detour anyway today. I had neoprene overshoes on so the feet were warm which helps.

I cycled in yesterday in shorts and a short sleeved shirt. I thought it was balmy myself and was scratching my head when I saw people in loads of clobber :-)

I've been using these the last few chilly mornings and haven't suffered any coldness, no padding through which takes some getting used to, fine on the commute (9 miles) but get a bit tiring on longer rides.

I've made the change this morning.

Up until now I'd been adding thicker base layers, arm warmers, leg warmers etc to the bibs and jersey combo.

This morning I broke out the 3/4 length bibs, and the long sleeve jumper with gillet over the top combo.

It does make getting ready a chunk quicker!

I was in shorts this morning and ice formed on the hairs on my legs in the freezing fog of Streatham. Maybe I'll move to bib tights but I wasn't that cold. I am enjoying my Northwave boots the last couple of days and I'm in long finger gloves now.

I have made bold the source of your problem.

Here is the solution:
