So a big box arrived today....

24 road jerseys, 7 MTB jerseys, 3 pairs bib shorts. smile

I've just finished matching items to people and bagging everything up, and now have 29 packets that I'll take to the post office tomorrow. Spare a thought for whoever's behind me in the queue!

Awesome! Hopefully will arrive Friday if I'm lucky! I can't remember....what class of post will you be sending it?

Thank you so much for organising.
I added on the cost of 2nd signed-for by default, but gave those with high value orders the option of upgrading to Special Delivery for the added insurance. I've got you down for the former - is that going to work OK?

They're all posted now. The single-jersey orders were actually accepted as Large Letter, so I sent them 1st class as I'd estimated postage based on them being Small Parcels. I was probably over cautious about postage costs this time as I took a bit of a bath on it last year.

I have tracking numbers if anyone needs them. Looking forward to you all getting your kit!

I got a card through door, so now I stand in the post office and they've fking lost it

I am balls deep in rage!!!

It is apparently in the building, so it'll turn up....
That really sucks. Have they managed to find it yet?

Incidentally, the address label had your forum name above your real name. I wouldn't have thought that would make any difference to them, but just in case it's got them confused...

"PomBstard" raised a smile at the Post Office...

I did mean to strike through them with a marker pen after I'd stuffed the bags. paperbag They were only there because a couple of people had similar surnames and I could see myself putting the wrong kit in the wrong bag otherwise...

Yeah I got a call back just after they closed. It was stored as Capt. Benzo.

Not as bad as some of the handles on here. If only I had some navy whites to stroll to the po in.
Ah, my fault then Ben. I'd assumed they'd just go by postcode and house number. Sorry that you had a wasted trip earlier and will have to go back.

Nevertheless, note to self: don't leave the forum names on the labels next time nono

Having achieved a speed only marginally faster than the First Fleet, my PH shirt has arrived at not-quite-the-arse-end-of-the-world. Fits great, and the colour is top notch, even if it does now clash horribly with the red on my bike and lid. But I'm sure I'll cope biggrin

Cheers, SPB thumbup
That's a big relief that it arrived OK, Lee. I was worried when I realised after I'd got home that the post office clerk hadn't given me a customs declaration sticker to put on. Hope that didn't cause any bother your end.

They came out brighter than I too was expecting, but despite that I really like the colour. It's certainly visible enough, though can see how it wouldn't match other reds too well. I wish I'd ordered a long sleeve in it for cold weather riding too, as if I do it again I may feel obliged to go with another colour to suit those who didn't want red.

I saw it said hand wash only on the label too. And ignored it too. smile

Mine's been through the machine a couple of times just fine so far. All my other Bioracer kit has been always been machine washed too, many times over the last 3 years or so since I got the first of it. Guess they just put it on to cover themselves.
