Only one way to find out, we should all chip in a tenner and buy the roadbike, it could be passed from PH'er to PH'er, the only stipulation is you have to use it in your next sportive or race smile
If you chaps will buy that TT bike, I'll happily try some KOM hunting on it, in and around my local woods and heathland. That should do a decent job of "testing it to destruction"!

It's a tough decision to choose between the 'three knife wheel' and the 'break wind wheel' on the orange TT bike.

I went to pump the tyres up on my town bike and had another look. The wheels are indeed plastic, with gold foil decals. It's a good job they have discs, as I imagine rim brakes would be rubbing from the flex in a mild crosswind.
