The "what bike bits have you just bought" thread Vol 2

MRP ramp control cartridge because it matches the orange bits on my Whyte S150. Also Hope discs with orange bits for the same reason.
The MRP cartridge seems to do what I wanted it to do, it essentially acts like a velocity sensitive variable token stack so I can dial the progression depending on whether I’m rolling on the fast flattish stuff here in Holland or more aggressive downhill stuff in the UK or the alps. I could stick with changing tokens now and then but it’s for an orange dial and that’s awesome

I’ve gone a bit mad recently! Got a new 36/52 chainset for the emonda, some new Endura mitts and a new camelback bidon. Whilst I was there I thought I’d pick up a Trek Madone and some deep section hoops to go with.
It's always the little extras which get you! Inner tubes, new gels, brand new Madone...Usget said:

There was serious man maths involved in this. Currently in Dubai and it’s punishing hot. I think I’m gonna have to get a Wattbike Atom for indoor summer work.

New shoes to replace old. Quite a lot more iridescent than they appear on the websites! I kept with SPD (XC901 vs RC901) because I am very familiar with SPD. Ordered from "Bikester" during a very good sale - they played silly buggers by saying it was out of stock but eventually shipped them when they came immediately back in stock after my order was cancelled... (The warehouse label on the item shows it was booked into stock before I was told it was out of stock)

Just a pair of Schwalbe pro ones today for me. And lottts of sweat in an under air conditioned Dubai gym
Must be wheel time of year. The wear indicators on the mediocre Fulcrums my bike came with are just about invisible and there is a noticeable dish on the front wheel braking surface so I figure I can justify some new hoops.
Cue a few weeks of scouting and a few missed auction bargains and I've gone for Wheelsmith Race 30s and some fancy new GP 5000 TLs to replace the Duranos I've been using for a while, but which aren't really needed now I've moved away from the flinty and gorse-ridden roads of Buckinghamshire.
According to bicyclerollingresistance.com, the GP 5000s should liberate (a scarcely believable) 20+ Watts over the Schwalbes, and I'm hoping the wheels' 350-ish gram weight saving and extra stiffness will be noticeable too.
We shall see!

Not so much a purchase as finally fitting these... put some carbon wheels on my Mojo. It’s a 26”er and, you won’t believe this, but it’s still massive fun and very capable!
Gave away the ZTR Crest wheels and saved something like 300g in the swap to Easton XC90
Put a new Michelin Pro 4 tubular on the back of my road bike and the old ones off to have a new tube. I run stans in them but this one's had it.

Not bought, as I have some, but if you're planning for winter boots, £210 down to £84
