What racks are people fitting paniers to?
I'm looking at commuting further by bike and can't store anything at work as i used to, so will have to bring outfit change and towel etc every day.
Don't get one of those ones that attach to your seat tube. I made that mistake a few years ago.I'm looking at commuting further by bike and can't store anything at work as i used to, so will have to bring outfit change and towel etc every day.
Any tack should be perfectly fine. Mine was £25 from Amazon. Light, solid, does the job. Taken my stuff many miles.

Depends what you want...I'm looking at commuting further by bike and can't store anything at work as i used to, so will have to bring outfit change and towel etc every day.
Any rack will do for normal panniers. Topeak seem to do a decent range of options.
However, if you want the best option available, check out tailfin...

I like Tortec racks because they're very lightweight. We have a Velocity on one bike and mine is a Supertour.I'm looking at commuting further by bike and can't store anything at work as i used to, so will have to bring outfit change and towel etc every day.

I've got an Axiom Journey unifit. Started on a rim brake frame that didn't have any rack mount, so used the long arm you see in the photo's to mount behind the brake calliper. It's now on a Dolan disc frame which does have rack mounts.I'm looking at commuting further by bike and can't store anything at work as i used to, so will have to bring outfit change and towel etc every day.

The Oakley is sized as up to 60, whereas the Planet X is up to 62. I measured my head at 60.5, so should be OK. Probably.

It was not.
Ironically it would appear that whilst I have a relatively normal sized head, it's already quite aero. It's tight at the front and back of my head, and loose enough on the sides.
Anyone in Devon need a TT helmet, to save me having to deal with Planet X returns?

Mine is the Tortec Transalp. Very surprised when it arrived and was in my hand. Very light.I chose the Supertour for the flat top. I thought it might come in handy one day. If nothing else, I can bungy a tent to it.
Clever locking mech on the Ortliebs.

I like how they claim it isn't compatible with bikes with disc brakes. Tortec makes the same claim about mine but I have a load of those little plastic spacers that come with TV brackets - one of those between the frame and the rack mounting point each side and it is a disc brake compatible rack.oops my apologies. I'm lying
It was this one I bought but paid about £35 from Amazon

The bike with the panniers on is conventional brakes the blue Giant disc brakes. Both have the disc version fitted

I think it depends on how the disk brake is mounted? As they sell two versions and if your disc brakes are not abstracted then you can use either?Matt_N said:
Anyone bought stuff from Rule28? Quite like one of their jerseys and just wondering what the quality and fit is like?
I’m probably a large by their height and weight chart but I’d rather it be race fit.
I've seen someone wearing their new skinsuit with bat wings for added speed.I’m probably a large by their height and weight chart but I’d rather it be race fit.
