I have a set of those. Nothing to get excited about, but great pedals nevertheless. Mine move about between bikes and are currently on my "gravel" bike, although they should probably go back onto my MTB soon. The bearings are certainly still smooth and show no signs of being either too loose or too tight, even after at least 3 or 4 years of use. The contact surfaces have worn to the underlying metal, and I've lost a couple of pins from them, but they are definitely plenty "grippy" enough. Even though I wear ordinary Decathlon trail-running shoes with them, not anything "cycling specific" on my feet. I reckon they should serve you well...Edited by yellowjack on Tuesday 22 June 13:50

Why pink if you don't mind me asking? As I often see male cyclists wearing pink and often wondered if a fashion thing/lgbt thing or a local or famous team colour?

Just about to buy these in pink for my new Orbea Laufey. Be interested to know what you think of them, online reviews seem good. As for pink, against matt black it just looks good, I also have pink marble deathgrips coming, no big deep meaning to my colour choice.I brought them as all the reviews seemed to highly rate them and I'm not dissapointed

After my Ribble debacle ended up getting cancelled i jumped on an instock Cube Attain GTC in 60cm, my size too. It was an extra £500 but then it's not likely i'm gonna find anything else this year. delivered within 4 days, happy camper here
After being mucked about with wildly changing dates I told ribble I was cancelling. Suddenly they put me on a fast track route. I assume it takes parts from those who were ahead of me. Hence many having put back orders. Those that shout get managed forward to a degree.
I cancelled anyway.

Everyone has an opinion, and only yours counts as its your bike and what you are happy with. But at risk of offending, those colours clash and don't go, in my humble opinion. Particularly as the Pedals are currently new, and so, shiny.
If Brighton Council started to paint the tips of their railings purple, there would be protests.
But very much your bike and your opinion. And pics don't always match reality.
Plus once you get some mud and dirt on the purple it will all blend in.

I tried to order a Wahoo earlier in the week but my payment never went through which gave me time for a change of heart.
I really like Google maps but I didn't want to use my old Pixel 2XL because the battery wouldn't last a whole day of bike-packing (which is my intention for August) however when you deduct the cost of a Wahoo from the cost of a new Pixel 5, it made more sense to buy the phone So I have.
... and a load of Quadlock accessories.
It all turned up today. It's really decent stuff. I'll fix it to my bike after work. By clash, you mean contrast?

The good thing about adding accent or contrasting colours with grips and pedals is they are cheap items that will need replacing relatively often. On my matt black bike I've gone with pink, next summer I'll choose something else.

When I bmx'd in the 80s it (oilslick) was cool AF. Sadly my pocket money didn't extend to anything cool... Just replacing rear tyres from imoressiving girls with skids and getting wheels trued. Oil slick though... are you 12?!

Now I'm my 40s I'm reliving my youth and I can afford tacky ste to bolt onto my bike.
E.g. Oilslick spokes and valve on my carbon wheelset. To be fair, the bike is raw ally so a little colour helps it not be completely monochrome.
The 12 YO me loves it So does my 12 YO son.
Sadly girls STILL aren't impressed with skids and wheelies - wife just tuts loudly.
