Endura FS260-Pro Nemo Gloves, always struggle with cold hands on rides yesterday was a fine mist drizzle with wind.
Not the best to keep warm on a bike.
These gloves are great, like a wet suit you sweat a little inside them, but then this warms up and stays warm and toastie without you feeling like your hands are dripping wet like some boil in the bag water proof gloves.
Windproof, good grip, good fit and long cuffs, I got home after 2 hours with my hands still warm.
Very recommended for rides this time of year.

Hmmm
A bmc slr02 (2017 model with shimano 105)
Lightbicycle 35mm tubeless ready carbon rims
Tune mig/mag hubs
Tune DC100/130 skewers
Swissstop black prince brake pads
Schwalbe pro one evo tubeless tyres
Elite vico carbon bottle cage
Just waiting for it all to arrive!
Wanted the slr02 with ultegra but managed to get such a bargain price on the 105 that i convinced myself the wheels would make for a vastly better bike than a slightly improved groupset. In all i have spent comfortably under the uk rrp of the bike itself and around a 1/3 of what the bike alone would have cost me here in the uae.

Few new bits for me this month- new bars, stem and bartape as shown above, really impressed with the Supacaz bar tape.
A Bontrager flare R rear light for £30 which is a small price to pay if people see me with plenty of warning. It's ridiculously bright in day flash mode.
Also got a Rivelo softshell for 75 reduced from 215, really nice fit and quality seems great but not had chance to wear it out and about yet.

A set of red Hope Tech 3 X2 brakes and matching 160mm floating rotors to replace the Shimano SLX that I currently have. Means I should actually be able to stop properly...
SLX are great brakes, the hopes will be no more powerful. The do look nice though. A 203mm front disc and 180mm rear would be the way to better stopping power.bakerstreet said:

Got them on my Fuji Transonic. Thought my Shimano RS80s were better, but they were over £100 more expensive. Found the Cosines were a pig to fit new tyres too, but could be the tyres. I looked at Wiggle for Cosine wheels, and there are none listed on the "wheels" section of the store. No option for 'Cosine' in the filters either. The historic Google links I found took me to some "Item No Longer Available" page results. Have they been ditched as a brand now? A couple of forums, including SingleTrackWorld have threads running suggesting we've seen the last of the "brand" too.
I also found an amusing YouTube video called "How to make your own fake wheel company"... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bb7eCgLbLI
...although it's not safe for work (somewhat 'fruity' language).
