Treating the Colnago to a cockpit upgrade this year, first acquisition Deda Superleggero stem.
Not settled on bars yet, either Deda or Specialized as I like each ones compact offerings.
Hi Matt, What have you got on there at the moment? It would have originally come with a set of RHM01 bars and a zero1 stem. I changed the bars for RHM02 as I had to replace them after my crash and I swapped for a shorter stem but went like for like. What will you get out of changing? Not settled on bars yet, either Deda or Specialized as I like each ones compact offerings.

I bought it as a frameset so nothing! It's currently got a Deda 100 stem (110mm) and RHM02 bars (42cm ctc).
Weight saving it'll be insignificant, 100g or so but carbon bars will up the comfort and I just fancy some. The stem was a bargain at £30, saves 30g, looks a bit nicer.

Hopefully this will sort this once and for all!

Maxxis Shorty for the front, Minion DHF for the rear. Both 2.5" wide trail variety.
Why you putting a frnt tyre on the rear? it will drag horribly?I'm a fool though, so don't listen to me. While I KNOW that putting different tyres on front and rear wheels makes sense, I'm the doofus that'll haul around a draggy rear tyre "because it matches the front one". OCD defeats common sense and scientific evidence every time!
F means freeride not front. R means Race not rear. When asked by Enduro mag what their best setup for mixed euro riding, this is the combo Maxxis themselves recommend
For the big adventure rides three seasons of the year I will stick to Ardents front and rear but for bad weather this combo should dig in nicely. Uplifts at Bike Park Wales on Saturday, cant wait!

I cant talk, it took all of my mental strength not to replace my Ardents with 90% of tread left with Ardent Skinwalls when they came back in stock!Rich_W said:

Mine are for my m900 xtr mech -
This saddlebag for commuting, since the new place doesn't have very much in the way of catering facilities. (Paid for with my leaving gift from the old place!)
I prefer to ride without a bag pack, and am hesitant to get panniers until I sort my fleet issues out. This will hopefully mean I can put my breakfast and lunch in the saddlebag, and save ripping the pockets on any more jerseys.
I might also be able to use it for an overnight long trip, in the summer, if I get spousal approval.

Won rather than bought, it’s amazing! Hopefully can see how the paint looks in the sun with the weave showing through.
It’s set for a 1x groupset as is a gravel spec.
Unfortunately I can’t afford to kit it out right now
Thinking I might buy a second hand bike and strip it then gradually upgrade.
Open to suggestions.

Needed a new chain, a few minutes online and the orders are in for some more bits and bobs.
Giro cinder MIPS going for £56 at Merlin
Just paid 87 at Sigma! Giro cinder MIPS going for £56 at Merlin
But that's because I wanted the Matt White in Large and it does seem to me that Giro are reducing their range generally
