Wave at me tonight. I've planned a route round Cissbury, Chanctonbury, back into Findon, up past the church, skirt round the cricket club & back up Long Furlong. Should keep me out of trouble for an hour or so.
Excellent! Should be dry (ish) despite the recent rain!! Let's have a ride some time if you fancy it!Full Shimano 105 disc groupset. £382.50 from wiggle. Handy I use a 170mm crank.
Will go on my gravel bike when existing wears out - or perhaps onto a winter road frame.

Just ordered myself an Altura Nevis waterproof jacket from Certini. Along with a Swisstop Rim Cleaner.
The jacket was £29.99. The rim cleaner was £3.99. Free postage kicked in at £30.00. Jacket only I'd have paid £33.98 delivered. So I figure I've got myself a free Rim Cleaner now. Whatever one of those is. It looks like a big eraser, sort of like the Peco Track Rubber for cleaning Hornby model railway track.
I'd tried the jacket (priced at £65.00) on at a local shop, yellow, in a size 'M'. It was a bit too snug, and they didn't have a size 'L' to sell me. It seems that there are issues with stock in popular sizes most places, as getting the size 'L' was a bit of a mission, and then it was in some odd colours. I've ended up with it in blue. I'm not really sure I like the colour, but it's a well reviewed "budget" waterproof jacket for £30.00, and as it's not "cyclist's Hi-Viz yellow" I may get some additional wear out of it as a walking jacket to sling in a rucksack. Fingers crossed now that it gets here before I leave for a MTB race in Wales at the weekend. As usual I left it to the last minute to buy a replacement for my old, worn-out jacket, so if it doesn't get here (delivery forecast is "between Wednesday and Saturday") I'll either need to buy another from a shop, or get wet according to the weather forecast.

Looks lovely! If it makes you feel better, Slik is owned by a PHer (me), so many thanks!
I hope you are happy with your stickers :-)
I’d like to liven this frame up with some holographic chrome decals to cover the original Canyon decals.
Is this something you can offer?

Yes, the quality is very nice. Better than expected actually as I wondered how gold could be printed next to purple cleanly. If it makes you feel better, Slik is owned by a PHer (me), so many thanks!

I also had a set arrive from your competitors today, stickrd. Quality is nice, however, unlike your kit, the application film on top is not cut around each sticker so you end up with one large sheet of stickers.

I don't want to hijack this forum with sticker enquiries :-)
If you mention PH I'm sure we can sort out a discount for members.
Cheers! Owen

Ha, that's cool, ordered about 6 or so sets of graphics off you guys now and won't use anyone else. If it makes you feel better, Slik is owned by a PHer (me), so many thanks!

Def not overpriced IMO as the quality is incredible, can really tell the difference when you use a competitors product, especially when it comes to application.
2 x Rapha jerseys, pair of cargo bib shorts and overshorts as I just can’t face walking round in public in Lycra cycling shorts.
The cargo shorts were expensive but are so comfy. How often do you wash them? They seem like a delicate material - never had kit like this before so not sure.
1 x Castelli hot weather jersey.
Pair of Look Trail Fusion pedals - these are on a road bike and I love them even though I know I’m not supposed to.
Also a cheeky little Look bag which will perform tool storage duties at home as I like to keep it minimal.

Decent sized haul again
RC100 shoes and 105 R7000 pedals, giving SPD-SL a shot on the proper bike. Keeping it SPD on the gravel bikes.
Continental long valve tubes, didn’t have any saddlebag tubes that would work with my new 50mm rims. If I can’t get the bloody valves to seal better they might be getting run tubed.
Muc Off valves to see if rectangular seats work better than conical ones.
Saddle bag, levers and multitool cause I’m sick of having one saddle bag full of kit getting rotated between 3 bikes.
GP5000S TR, 1 to replace the knackered sidewall on the rear, 1 spare since they’re rather fragile.
90mm stem to try and sort out my riding position on the gravel bike, if it’s an improvement I might get another to try going to 100mm.

Thought I'd try some Galfers. I love the sram codes, but they seemed to lack enough bite for the ebike, decided to swap my maguras out for the codes.
Been off the bike for most of the last 6 months. Doing a bit of maintenance on my Levo and trying to sell the Tranny. Before hopefully heading out again soon
