It pleases me (more than it should) that even on a Trigger's Broom of a pub/towing bike, you've taken the time to make sure the valve stems and tyre writing all line up.

I ride a 64cm 2.3 (from a few years ago mind. Did you get a good deal? Mind sharing a link?
https://www.sigmasport.co.uk/item/Trek/Emonda-ALR-Road-Frameset-2018/G3BR

I paid the £775 retail price for it, tried getting a deal but because its a brand new framset they was having none of it. Poor from me ha

They told me it would be 2 weeks from ordering (Tuesday) it arrived today, lovely frame and feels very light considering the size.

Cleaning my MTB after Cannock Chase, and realised that it wasn't a gritty bearing that made my pedal sound clicky:

So, a set of black DMR V12s ordered. Nothing fancy, but a step up from the Wellgos, a few extra pins that can extend further. I'll see if the extra grips makes much difference!

I can confirm they make a big difference I had those wellgos prior to a move to DMR V12 Mgs

Cool! Reviews are positive and Wiggle had them for a slightly ludicrous £38, so seems like a win all round.

Thanks very much! (I got my 2.3 from them back in the day. They were very helpful, but not very "discounty". hehe

I didn't buy it, but this new frame turned up over the weekend to replace the 4yr old one which developed a little crack in a weld near the head tube smile Lifetime warranty FTW!

New Bike incoming so have splashed right out this last week:

- Canyon Aeroad SLX 8.0 Disc & DI2.

- Fizik R4B Shoes in Black and Red.
These seem pretty handy, fairly light, better and more resistant material to the R5B and have the Boa in the right place.

- Fizik Antares Kium Saddle. Its a saddle, nice looking though...

- Shim 105 5800 Pedals.
Have ultegra DI2 on the new bike, so ideally would have liked to get the Ultegra pedals. But couldnt justify an extra £25 when had them both in my hand...

- Castelli Velocissmo Bib Shorts.
Usual Castelli goodness

- Castelli Prologo Jersey
Cheap in the sale...

- Castelli Squadra Light weight coat
Was only £30 so couldnt expect a huge amount, but ok to stick in your pocket when the weather looks patchy.

- Altura Cycling socks. 3 Pack on Amazon for £11, seem pretty good!

Thanks smile

It's a '17 Genesis Equilibrium 725 frameset with Fulcrum Racing Quattro wheels, Thomson seatpost and stem, cheapo FSA handlebars (which I don't really like much!) finished off with the Ultegra groupset from the old frame (apart from the brakes which are Tektro things because the Ultegra brakes don't have enough 'reach' because Equilibriums can take full size mudguards).

Ordered a new SRAM Apex PG1050 cassette in 12-28 configuration for the wet weather bike

Put a new chain on it thinking I might get away with it after a bit of grinding

But no, the sprockets for my three favourite gears are too worn
