A "Thermal" longsleeve. I was just about warm enough in it this morning, with a merino shortsleeve underneath.
Very nice feel though:

2 days ago - walk of shame plus phone call to get picked up by the support vehicle (Mrs PD in the estate). A puncture followed by the realisation that my crappy minipump just didn't work Grrrrrr.
So today, new pump fitted, plus a change to a 'tool bottle'. The Layzene bracket has a big enough offset to allow fitting on the Endurace fat downtube.

I went into the Aldises, to get a couple of sets of their cree LED rechargeable lights. I bought some last year, and they are every bit as good as the Lezyne numbers they copy. I ended up getting a Merino jersey, a new saddle, 2 sets of lights, 2 sets of socks ( one waterproof ) some bright, reflective, Neoprene gloves, and a pair of cycling tights. Not bad for less than 100 quid, all in.
I picked up the Aldi front and rear light set too, they're bright enough to be used as daylight running lights too. My commute is fairly well lit, apart from a few dark bits so should be perfect. Also picked up another bottle of the dry lube (1st bottle is still going 500 miles later) and a bottle of the wet lube.

The thing with those lights is that, on full whack, they light up even the darkest roads, like daylight, they really are that good.GOATever said:

Modern cheap Chinese LEDs have changed things so much, I remember 10 years ago to get a front light putting out the same as these £15 ones you were looking at £100-150 plus a big external battery pack...
Out with the old (Camelbak Rogue, about 5+ years old) and in with the new (Camelbak MULE LR15)

The rogue was ok for 1-2hour rides but with a tube, multitool, pump etc and a couple of litres of water there was barely space for an energy gel and banana.
Now I'll have 3l of water (no more running out on full day rides) and space for a small kitchen sink! The low rider part really does make a difference, there's almost no weight on your shoulders, it's all around your waist.
I'll probably replace the rogue with a Camelbak repack at some point too and join the enduro fanny pack brigade

Just received some bits from Galibier. A Mistral jacket, Mistral toe covers and Ardennes light winter gloves. The nice people at Galibier put a complimentary buff in the parcel as well.
Seems great quality kit and good value to boot. I'm almost looking forward to some inclement weather to try it all out
