That looks like really good value with the 65Nm Bosch unit and full suspension.
It’s honestly best money I’ve spent in years. Great fun

That Decathlon really is a great spec for the price.

I've had a proper run on my Haibike SDuro Cross 6.0 with new tyres fitted. I went with Schwalbe Big Bens and the difference on roads is amazing vs the Smart Sams (unsurprisingly). A quick hour on urban roads and I managed to average just over 20mph, with most of the riding on Eco. Absolutely loving it and it makes it all more predictable in terms of exercise- effort/heart rate etc.

They have been selling 1 a day during the lockdown so you were doing well to even get in with a chance to buy one.

If you are unemployed for months on end, what better way to spend the time!

But to be fair, it's easy to to do 20mph+ on a normal bike, my derestricted ebike allows me to do the exact same speeds but with less effort to achieve them, so theres no real difference.
Some people think that (legal) e-bikes are a lot faster than normal bikes. I average about 12mph on my MTB, about 16 on the e-bike (Orbea Gain D31) and at a push up to 19 on the road bike. There is no way I'd get anywhere near that on the e-bike. I use the Orbea for commuting, its motor has a relatively low output of 40nm, but it's perfect for the job and I have no desire to de-restrict it.

You are going to have so much fun. If you don’t report having a smile on your face the first time you ride it, then I won’t believe you smile

I have the older-style Cube hardtail and it’s been excellent.

You will definitely have a hardtail the moment you ride it.

Happily recommend to you (and others) the Suntour seat post - (check the size)
It just gives a bit more comfort, and as the bike is an 'E' the extra weight is irrelevant.

and at the other end, my upgrade forks are now incoming as the high sped descents are making my vision wobble on the spring forks !

ROCK SHOX FORK 29" 120 MM TAPERED BOOST JUDY SILVER TK - ORANGE

We also had a lad out who dismantled and rebuilt the two cubes packing with grease etc since we have done 600 odd miles on them. I was amazed to see I have lunched a pair of rear pads already.
The bikes run so much better after the £40 service each. Do recommend keeping it in mind.

Are those forks better than the standard reaction ones?

Might invest myself.

Don't know personally yet- only ordered Saturday, but I was advised they will be chalk and cheese versus the springs set up in the Reaction - which I personally find pretty bad if pressing on over rutted / pocked / rocked tracks.
Mine is the Reaction EX FWIW

Not sure when I'll manage to get them fitted though frown
This week would be ideal as the OH is away, and shed never know ! wink

Should be easy to fit yourself, just need a tube cutter.

I have a Cube Reaction Hybrid Eagle 500 which has the RockShox Judy Silver TK Air fitted as standard and they work well on and off road.

Personally I find a lot of mainstream brands overpriced.

I have this from decathlon for £2699 and I am really happy with it:

https://www.decathlon.co.uk/stilus-full-suspension...

I feel like this competes easily with other brands at close to £4k bikes.
Sure it's amazing value. I still think a YT Decoy Base offers similar value at the £4k price point.

Someone came past me on a very fancy e-MTB the other day (Black with gold or bronze decals but didn't catch brand) at well over 15mph so the limiters must be easily disabled.......I hadn't ever considered an e-bike until then.......
